We’re tying the knot in Costa Rica!
A Little About Us
Hey there! We’re Amy and Ashkon: the ultimate power couple who prove that love can’t be rushed. We met during our first year at UC Davis and immediately became good friends, though over time we developed a much deeper connection. Our years together in college were full of shared adventures, including many late nights studying in Shields Library, working out together with the Judo team, snowboarding in Tahoe, playing hundreds of hours of Resident Evil 5, and generally running amok all over Davis with our amazing friends. Long before we were a couple, we were already doing everything together.
When Amy moved to Baltimore for graduate school and Ashkon followed, our life as partners truly began. In the 11 years since then, we had wonderful adventures living together on the East Coast and made more life-long friends. Now back in California, we’ve tackled the challenges of buying our first house and finally got engaged (!)… 5 years ago and counting. Who knew it would take so long to choose the moment to make things official? Well, that time has come, and we’ve decided to get married in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica surrounded by our loved ones in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Our Venue – Villa Punto de Vista
We invite you to join us at Villa Punto de Vista in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, surrounded by the jungle and rainforest wildlife. We’ll gather on a rooftop terrace to exchange our vows in the canopy with a majestic ocean view. Our wedding events will take place this private villa and its adjacent sister property Villa La Isla (occupied only by us and other wedding guests) – we are also excited to spend multiple days in Manuel Antonio with our closest friends and family. In addition to our wedding ceremony and reception, we will host our guests for a welcome night cocktail hour at Villa La Isla and a private catamaran cruise at the end of the trip. Time between these events can be spent exploring the charming beach town of Manuel Antonio, touring the world renown rainforest habitats with incredible excursion adventures, or simply relaxing with wedding friends at the Villa or on the beautiful beaches just a few minutes walk away.

Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 | Arrive in Manuel Antonio
7 – 10 pm | Welcome Night Party at Villa La Isla (villa adjacent to Punto de Vista on the same estate)
Drinks and small bites to kick off the festivities
Attire: Cocktail
Sunday, May 4th, 2025 | Wedding Day
3:20 pm | Shuttle Pick-Up(s) for Off-Site Guests (all hotels)
3:50 pm | Guests Arrive at Villa Punto de Vista
4:00 pm | Wedding Ceremony
4:30 pm | Cocktails and Appetizers
6 pm | Dinner and Toasts
8 pm | Dance the Night Away
10:30 pm | Shuttle Pick-Up for Off-Site Guests (though you’re welcome to stay later if you like!)
Attire: Tropical formal
Monday, May 5th, 2025 | Beach or Excursion Day
Free day for individual or small group excursions or relaxing at the Villa or beach – no formal wedding events scheduled – enjoy yourselves!

Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 | Last Hurrah
1 pm | Shuttle Pick-up at Villa La Isla
1:15 pm | Shuttle Pick-up at Hotel La Mariposa
2 – 6 pm | Catamaran Cruise
Private excursion on the Ocean King with swimming and snorkeling
(transportation, snorkeling gear, drinks, and dinner provided)
Attire: Swimsuit, sunglasses, and sunscreen!
Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 | Depart from Manuel Antonio
